This week's biggest new releases reviewed for your listening pleasure

Thom Yorke - Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses

Radiohead may have decided not to make any more records, but frontman Thom Yorke is still at it. Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses is a delay-drenched, sample driven track with great little bass tones that descend into percussion. The overuse of delay on Yorke's vocals and the nice little synths towards the end do, however, just make you feel a little bit dizzy.

The Saturdays - Forever Is Over

Famous for walking around in their well styled pants and making total throwaway pop, The Saturdays have decided to chuck out a ballad. Forever Is Over is a break-up song, which starts a little bit RnB - getting us a bit concerned that they might be trying to move into the 'Urban' section of iTunes. Never fear because it's not long before some pro pop songwriting comes into play, turning the whole thing into a ridiculous pop romp.

Massive Attack - Splitting The Atom

The production geniuses who have been soundtracking our lives since the early nineties are back, but have they still got it? Slow with a sinister edge, underlining some wonderful dark and floaty production, Splitting The Atom features the awesome vocals Massive Attack are famous for, but there's much more storytelling this time. It takes you a few listens to realise actually how great this spooky little track is, but it's worth it

The Voluntary Butler Scheme - Trading Things In

This is one guy whose name will crop up more and more. Midlands-based one man band The Voluntary Butler Scheme has been taking live audiences by storm with his show of live looping and sample based indie pop. Trading Things In is an excellent example of this. Nothing hugely special, just great, good feeling lo-fi pop.

Drums Of Death - Got Yr Thing

Detroit!!! Lo-fi, stomping drums, groovy as hell techno synths and some dude in skull make-up ranting over the top about wanting some lady to do the 'nasty dance'. What more do you need to know?! Whatch the video below and get ready to get to know this one on a dancefloor near you...
