Inspired by Marc Jacobs, we find the hottest high street looks featuring bows
We took a look at NYFW in anticipation of LFW and got a little bit too excited about 2010's new looks. In fact, we got so excited that we are hunting down the best in bow detailing after seeing this trend being heavily featured in the Marc By Marc Jacobs catwalk show. Minnie Mouse eat your heart out!
To start off with let's not forget that although we have expensive tastes, it doesn't mean we have the wallet to match it. So this simple yet chic ASOS dress at £20 is the perfect way to embrace bows on a budget (pictured left). This soft cotton dress will take you through the next couple of seasons and is guaranteed to stay in style.
The beauty of the bow detailing is that it can feature pretty much anywhere - from head to toe. This Oasis pussy bow scarf is a good way to start from the top. Wear it as a big 80s style headband or round your neck as a girly yet sophisticated accessory for £10.
Now for gorgeous feet - look no further than Miss Selfridge's faux suede shoeboots with back-bow detail. These beauties are just £50, which, for footwear that goes with everything, makes them essential.
For a more subtle way to wear bows in your hair, try Urban Outfitters' tapestry bow for £8. As soon as you slip on this hair band be prepared to feel flirty, and it will instantly lift any outfit.
If we play a game of word association, it takes us from bow, to present, then on to party - so obviously we have to end on a party dress note! This little satin number from oli costs just £30. Its one shoulder slinky look is perfect to take you into party season and beyond.
