We review the five biggest tracks available to buy this week

Mini Viva – Left My Heart In Tokyo
Sure to be pop sensations, Mini Viva have all the attitude and style to make a home right in the top of the charts. Left My Heart In Tokyo is a completely unashamed disco-pop party tune, with plastic pop production is just the right side of eurotrash, saved by modern (ie vintage) sounding synths and vocals hinting at The Noisettes.

David Gray – Fugitive
Now you have to admire someone who knows exactly who they are. David Gray knows and no doubt enjoys the thought of 40 year old women in horrible suburban towns going all gooey for his awful music. Fugitive's weak soft rock is pretentiously epic, completely forgettable and perfect midday Radio 2 fodder: "Jan from Milton Keynes would like us to play this song to celebrate the completion of her new conservatory, lovely."

Muse – Uprising
Wow, Muse properly missed the bandwagon with this one! That glam-rock stomp is like so five years ago! And you can't mask it with predictable (although slightly Doctor Who-ish, which sort of saves it a bit) synths and a pointlessly epic chorus. Sorry Muse, you are now officially in the 'lost it' pile.

The Big Pink - Dominos
Oh it's horrible, so...god...damn...catchy! Dominos is going to be one of those tunes that stays at the top of the charts and gets played so much that you want to rip your hair out. Jumping on the Reverend And The Makers shoegaze revival but with slightly better production, it's a surefire hit that unfortunately we're just going to have to put up with.

The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Come Saturday
Returning with their second single, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart blast us with another dose of nostalgic indie pop soaked in fuzzy guitars. If you remember the 90s and the golden days of Melody Maker all too well, Come Saturday will be pretty familiar, with winks to Dinosaur Jr, New Order and bands like Kenickie all swathed in a sea of fuzz.
Watch them performing it live at The Music Hall in Williamsburg below.
