Mismatched Celebrity Couples

August 21st sees the UK cinema release of I Love You Beth Cooper, in which Hayden Panettiere stars as the hottest and most popular girl in school, Beth Cooper. Dennis Cooverman (Paul Rust), the school’s nerdy valedictorian publicly declares his love for Beth during his graduation speech. To his and everyone else’s surprise Beth Cooper decides to show him the ‘best night of his life’! Here we take a look at some other mismatched couples in the world of celebrity.


Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher

Ashton is 15 years Demi’s junior; being 46, Demi Moore’s children grew up having crushes on the now 31 year old Kutcher. They met in May 2005 and were married by December of that year. They have, surprisingly to some, been happy ever since.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes

At just 5’7", Tom Cruise is going to look small against almost anyone he stands near. He hasn’t really helped himself here though by marrying American actress Katie Holmes who is two inches taller than the Hollywood mega star - before she puts on her heels!  As the picture on the left shows, Tom often stands two steps above his wife so not to highlight the height difference in photographs.

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman

Having won the Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her hit single Beautiful in 2004, the gorgeous Christina Aguilera was at the height of her powers and could have had almost any man on the planet. However she decided to go for her producer Jordan Bratman.  AOL’s teen site stated that “this is why ‘leagues‘ were invented... for her to be out of his!”

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher

With her petite figure and gorgeous red hair, Miss Fisher is said to be one of the only women in the celebrity circuit that can pull off both cute and sexy. When we see Sacha Baron Cohen however, we cannot help but picture his world famous, gay Austrian, celebrity mocking alter-ego Bruno!

Last summer the ex-Rolling Stone left his wife Jo of 23 years and his four children for a teenage waitress who is less than one third of his age! Although Ronnie, 61, is old enough to be Ekaterina’s grandfather, the two still plan to have children, but ‘not for about 10 years.’  That will make the rock and roll guitarist 71 years old!
