Video: Women's Soccer Ponytail Takedown

Would you say punching a player in the back, throwing a few quick punches at another player's head, and using a dangerous slide tackle is appalling behaviour on a football pitch? How about grabbing a player's ponytail while behind her, and using it to violently throwing her to the ground?

This seriously happened at a game in New Mexico; the player (aka crazy woman) inflicting all this, Elizabeth Lambert, has since been suspended. If this is the kind of thing that goes on at women's football we are definitely sticking to exercising with our Davina McCall Workout DVD at home...
