Naughty News: Are You Ready For A Sexual Revolution?

Would you trust your man to have the jab?
On June 23rd 1960, the contraceptive pill was approved for widespread use in the States and a period - excuse the pun - of sexual liberation for women, choice about pregnancy and, perhaps unconnectedly, flower power followed.
Then, we realised it made us emotional, it made us eat more, it’s blimming hard to remember to take and actually, when you’re up against Chlamydia, you can’t go wrong with a Durex.
But this week, Scottish scientist, Richard Anderson has started the latest sexual revolution. 400 brave men are trialling a hormonal jab that significantly reduces sperm count and much like the female injection, can act as a temporary contraceptive.
Professor Anderson spoke for women everywhere when he told the Scottish Sun: “A lot of women who have taken on the reproductive and contraceptive burden think it's maybe time men took their turn”. But really thinking about it, would we feel comfortable handing over the responsibility for contraception to the boys?
We all know unprotected sex is riskier for women and a lot of girls seem to be questioning how we’d know our men had really had the jab.
The other worry playing on our minds, of course, is the possibility of a tie-dye revival…
